Howdy folks,
This is the first knife I've made with ironwood. I like it. :)
This is also the first hollow ground blade that I've handrubbed. It was a little bit of a pain until I got used to it. I think it was worth it though.
Any comments are welcome,

Thats a beautiful piece of wood you got on there. I really like the grinds on that. Very nice:thumbup: :D

really a very beautiful knife.

my neighbor is over, and she says:
"that's a big knife!!!"
me:"it's beautiful"
"that could kill someone!!!"
me:"that's what it's for"
"ooohhh..." (with a scared look)

i assume that this is a fighting/outdoors knife...correct me if i am wrong

You're right, it's a fighting knife. Based loosely on the Loveless Big Bear. I think I know where that name came from. It's a bear to grind. :D:D
 
I'd says its GREAT. Move it to the Forum: Maker For Sale Custom and price it in time for a pre-Xmas sale..

Like a hot car going by you at a 100 mph, that just blows your doors off! I can only imagine what you'll be making year after year, it going to be something to watch ;)
 
As was already said....nice knife, the grind looks very clean and the spacer conbination accents it well. Lastly that is a nice piece if ironwood.

Sir...that is the best looking knife Ive seen on here today! Beautiful choice of wood and materials..blade length is perfect...HOW MUCH? And whats the sheath like? Rick
