Well, this isn't a knock-you-off-your-feet knife, (unless you're sensitive to bright colors ;) ) but I haven't posted anything here for awhile, and this WAS a custom order. It was made for someone who is joining the USAF, and wanted a knife with the USAF colors. :)

Steel: W2, forged from 1-1/4" round bar

Blade length: 4.5"

Total length: 9.25"

Handle material: Blue G10 with white fiber liners.

Thanks for looking, and as always, comments or criticism is welcome.

Few things...

First those grinds are perfect. But I wonder (not in any way a criticism) wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to do stock removal for a blade like that? As it is a "design" that is often done with S/R.

Peter.

It may be that the morning coffee hasn't quite hit me yet, but I'm liking the blue G10. The blade itself is a beauty. Deep hollow grinds and a tapered tang done that well are hard to beat.

It would probably be cheaper, unfortunately, W2 flat stock is darned hard to find. I do save some time by forging in the tang taper instead of grinding it, so maybe it all evens out.

Thanks everyone for your comments! I know the blue isn't for everyone.... :)
