This project was inspired by memories of those plastic pocket protectors that became iconic symbols of the school geeks. Remember those guys? The ones who always carried lots of pens and pencils (and slide rules!)? Socially inept, dressed funny, the butts of lots of jokes. They were also the ones who went on to become dot com millionaires and retire at 30………. Ah, well..........

Anyway, I got tired of switching pens form bag to bag and usually forgetting the one I needed or “loosing” pens and pencils in the dark recesses of my bag de jure. Had some scrap leather, a boot clip that I got years ago and never found a use for, and a weekend with nothing much else to do, so:………

Result will hold 3 or 4 pens/pencils, a box cutter (my current EDC blade of choice) and clips pretty conveniently to the inside of a bag or pack. Best part is that everything stays together when I switch. And I have maintained my cool, leather guy look………..

Thats cool. When I was in the Vending Machine business I had a Plastic one with a dizzying array of gadgets stuffed in it.
