Support Jeff and Mike! Put the following on your TO DO list for today:
1. Send an email to Ontario illuminating their foolishness. Email is knifesales@ontarioknives.com. (Below I've pasted the one I sent.)
2. Buy a RC-4 or 3 today. You will love it.
3. Repeat step 2 as needed.

Dear Sirs,
It has come to my attention that there is a potential
lawsuit in the works against RAT Cutlery and/or Jeff
Randall and Mike Perrin.
Whilst I find this almost impossible to believe, if it
is indeed true, you have lost me as a customer and
everyone I can possibly convince to leave you due to
this despicable act. Frankly, your time and money
would be better served if you invested them into your
product line rather than forcing a smaller company to
capitulate to some heavy-handed tactic. (Heaven knows
there is certainly plenty of room for improvement both
in quality and customer service. I know--I was at
SHOT this year!) No doubt inherent in your strategy is
the monetary bullying of a smaller company you fully
realize does not have the resources to fight your
desperate antics, regardless how ludicrous the suit.
Although you may very well win this lawsuit, in the
end you will lose, as your reputation (what remains)
will not be able to survive your deplorable attempt at
eliminating a competitor in this manner. Especially
given the fact that Jeff and Mike contributed largely
to the good reputation Ontario once enjoyed.
Every Ontario product I own is currently sitting in
the trash as I type this. My grandfather helped
instill in me the fact that when all the dust clears
and the accounts are settled, all you have left is your
name. I will never again be seen with an Ontario
product. To put it succinctly, my reputation is too
important to me to be seen to appear to patronize a
business such as yours.
During hard times, it becomes evident who your friends
are. As this unfolds, you will see a large portion of
the knife industry rally around Jeff and Mike. My
prediction is you will not enjoy that same level of
support.
Ontario is pursuing a poor course of action, but as is
said, "eventus stultorum magister."
