Well I ain't a Hog or nothin, but I decided to take a picture of all my Busse (and SY and SW) knives and post it here.

So what do you guys think -- cute little collection? It's actually pretty substantial when you consider I bought my first Busse (a Game Warden of course) about 18 months ago, and never intended to in any way "collect" Busse knives. I still don't -- I just can't stop buying them! I also have a SY Son of Dogfather LE on the way so there'll be one more in the mix before long.

Well, here they are -- thanks for looking...

Ah, we all start somewhere, I started by buying a Steel heart II at the advice of my dentist who had read a story in Soldier of fortune Magazine... I read it and decided to splurge out the massive $200 some odd bucks for this very expensive survival tool.. bought some more and was content as they filled my survivial and tactical needs.. quite a few years went by, and I looked at them and they were going for almost $300 a piece and I didn't get back into them until the ASH1 came out... then I freaking lost my mind and wallet... and have become addicted to INFI and have become a "fat" hog... Nice ASh1s and little ones... BUT you must get a Big chopper.. A FSH or FFBM.. actually the NMSFNO up right now should be a good size chopper.. competes with the much more expensive FSH at the company prices.. Nice pic!

That's a great looking collection so far.

You definitely need a chopper... or three. :p

Nice! I like the looks of the meaner bottom leftish. You need a chopper... NEED! being the key word.;) That's were infi really shines.

Okay, I think you guys are trying to send me a really subtle message that I need an INFI chopper.

So, would a NMSFNO fit the bill? It's got an eight inch blade which normally is considered big, but probably not by HOG standards. Or should I hold out for an FFBM or FSH?

The price is right on the NMSFNO, but then again if we were interested in compromising, we wouldn't be INFI addicts would we?

Same thing happened to me, except in reverse. My first Busse was a FBM SE and I don't have a Game Warden, yet. I keep looking, but every time I think I've found the right one, I find something bigger I want more.

I am holding the line at 4 right now. I picked up a FBMLE in trade, then bought a pumpkin SS (you must have good taste), then a pumpkin/satin GW, then got a red/black handled BAD.

I decided I needed a mid sized piece of Infi. I traded my BAD for a Fat Ash1 CG, so I am still holding strong. (and this is after my wife told me to keep the BAD, and just stash a few buck to buy a mid sized one in a while).

I think I will hold strong where I am for a while at least.

Say it with me "I have enough Infi right now"

But that being said, you really do need a large chopper, like now. I think you could just find a nice Dog Father for cheap. Or you could pick up an FBMCG, or I think I saw a NMFBM on the exchange the other day for a decent price..............

oh, wait "I have enough INFI!"

Damn nice collection for only 18 months.

I'm on my 3rd Busse with the NMSFNO, but I do have a few Scrapyard and Swamprat as well.

Not too shabby, not too shabby at all. I think if you added a mistress to that pile you'd be pretty much set. Now's a good time to be into Busses- there are a lot available.

I would recommend a mistress over a NMSFNO. It's cool, but I don't think it will really much more than the ASH-1s you have. Now a NMFBM on the other hand- that's a different story. It's a beast.
