I am not a knife guy, but every now and then the madness strikes me.

I little while back I found myself hurrying down to the man cave with three becker boxes before my wife noticed them.

I stripped them (poorly).

I played with them (a lot).

I tried to sharpen them (poorly).

We learn as we go. But one thing I did successfully was my google-fu. I found this site and saw a few pictures of Tom's work.

I contacted him and was stunned by how little he charges. The prices were low enough that they actually made me a little nervous. But service was prompt and the results fantastic. Now for a little cocobolo . . . .

Sorry about the poor pics, but the grain on this last one (BK16 in the sheath) is fantastic.

Tommythewho does great work and his customer service is top notch.
 
Gotta get me some scales for my 7 & 9 & both of the tweeners. :rolleyes:

Hmmm maybe I can get a part time job just for Tommy. :D

I will be doing the same thing next week sometime when my 14 gets here........sshhhhhhhhh
