Very nice!

My lone zebra says Hello;

Those are incredible, Tommy. I briefly debated the mammoth bark zebra when I saw it on the exchange, but decided a gorgeous knife wouldn't be of much use if my wife kills me. 😀

I apologize in advance if this is common knowledge, but is the zebra pattern welded steel or is it applied to the surface? I ask because I've noticed that all of the black and white blades that I've seen pictures of have the same pattern, though sometimes they are "mirror images". And the two blue and purple ones in this thread have the same (mirrored) pattern. Besides applying the pattern to the surface, the only thing that I can think of is a welded "block" that gets cut like sliced bread, with each "slice" rendering a blade with a nearly identical pattern as the last.

The one in your signature is one of the nicest Mnandis I've ever seen. Along with this one:

Oh my!! So pretty it is painful to the eyes! Almost has the same symmetry of color and beauty that the black scaled version has.
If you would ever be interested if finding a new home for that beauty please let me know!! [emoji16]

Wanting to buy or trade for African Blackwood with B&W zebra damascus.
As pictured above. Thanks for looking!

If only it were mine! That pic is actually from the Mnandi Obsession thread. It just sticks out in my mind as an insanely nice Mnandi. Along with the one in your sig, and the ones Tommy has posted here. I'm jealous of them all!

This is the only Mnandi I actually own. It's nice, but not Zebra Damascus Ebony inlay nice. 😀
