Ok, so I'm a bit excited. I love my large plain Insingo. I purchased a small micarta Insingo from beau007 and just picked it up at the post office. Got there 30 minutes before they opened and waited like a puppy waiting for his owner to come home :)

Mark (beau007) did a sweet job on packing up the little precious and it arrived safe and sound.

I know... This is worthless without pics. I'll take nicer photos later. Ones below are from the post office parking lot and taken with my phone.

Ok, I'm happy now. Off to work :)

That's next on my list (I'm trying to trade for one as we speak). Is the micarta pretty grippy? Does it feel nice in your hand? Do you just want to buy another CRK now, or does that feeling ever go away?

I am intrigued by the insingo but what I love about the 21 blade shape is how inset it is into the handle. Is there a big difference in how the Insingo carries with so much more blade protruding from the handle?

Micarta small looks excellent.

Nothing beats cutting open a package containing a CRK with a CRK! Congrats and enjoy it.

Gotta love the small micarta insingo! I really like mine, but I will be putting it up for sale to fund some other projects. I'm sure I will regret doing so.

Trust me, you will love the small micarta. Feels and looks great. I am just glad that, in your moment of excitement, you didn't slice open your leg trying to open that package on your lap with one hand .... and snapping a pic with the other!!

The Insingo looks like a nice blade-shape. I would to get one of those pretty soon.

In my opinion, the micarta is slightly more grippy than plain Ti. The small Sebbie with micarta is the same thickness as a large plain sebbie. I think the knife feels a bit better in my hand because of it. It's certainly a personal choice on that front. It's an $85 add-on, so not cheap. I just like the look of the micarta, which is probably my main reason for getting it.

As soon as I played with my new Sebbie, I started thinking about "what's next?" So, no, it doesn't go away :)

I don't think so. The feel of a knife is mostly defined by the handle. In my jeans pocket, I carry much larger knives and they still feel fine. I am 6'4" though. If you wear 80's rock star jeans, your experience will likely vary :)

Congrats. Sweet looking blade! Just don't turn into Gollum!

I'm all good. Ready to take on the giant spider with my dual Insingos....

I made the cut first, then posed the shot. Wasn't about to multitask with a big blade.

I love the Insingo blade shape. I have the Large Micarta Insingo and I have been thinking I need a Small to match. I just got a new Wilson Combat Starbenza, though and I'm very happy with it. On the other hand, I know what you mean about always thinking about which CRK is next. I still want that matching small and I still want a Wilson Combat Umnumzaan too! Congrats man.
