These handles were professionally done (not me of course) as you can see for yourself. It's a really nice one. I don't think I've ever seen one quite that red or with a liner. A one of a kind!!

I can see the Bos stamp on the tang. Whats the steel ?
 
The UPS man came today and dropped off a Custom Shop 110 in S30V, NS, Rivets, and Indigo Blue. For some reason, I've really developed a taste for the Blue dymondwood. I which Buck would consider expanding the CS offerings of Dymondwood. I'll post a picture in this thread tomorrow when I get some good light.

Couple of comments...First the F&F is just exceptional. Blade is centered, perfect fit on handles, lockup is tight and snap is good. The buff job on the bolsters and knife in general is just right. This is a pretty knife.

One thing I wanted to point out is the rivets are counter-sunk on this knife. +1 This is a very nicely done knife.

I've been slowly adding 110's from the Custom shop that match my CS112's. It should make a niffty little display one day.
 
Crappy picture but it does show those interesting rivets. Those are just oil streaks. There isn't a mark on this knife.

Oh My God!!!!!!!You were one of the people that got me on the custom Buck 110 kick.Where do you come up with all those handle choices?I don't think they have all those options on the Buck C.Shop page.You kill me man!
 
That Indigo Blue 110 is straight out of the Custom Shop. The 112's red bone handles well...were not :)

Here are the two CS112's I have matched up already. Smooth Buffalo and Indigo Blue. I have one more CS112 in FG, Cherry, NS, & Rivets that I should go ahead and have a matchine 110 done too. This Indigo Blue was the first time I placed the order entirely over the internet and didn't talk to Liz or Pete or CJ's daughter and it worked perfectly. I must say I'm real pleased with the result and the order was fulfilled in about 2.5 weeks. So boy's put your CS orders in and keep that thing running.

Well Flat you talked me into it. That was one I don't have so I ordered one. I love the premium steels.

The CS112 option was a one time deal. I bought quite a few because I felt like Joe H. meant it when he said it was a one time event. So my matching is with the 110s to the 112s I already have.

Only around 100 S30V 112s got made in various handles so they are pretty special each and every one.
