Its her first book that has taken years to write entitled: "Leaving Kansas Sky" Its about her experiences and life changes after leaving our home in Kansas in 1964. I havent read it but Im sure its good, anyway do you guys have an idea how and where to have it published that doesnt cost an arm and a leg? She has no idea where to start. Any and all ideas are welcome.

Look for a recent copy of "Writer's Market". It's a book that lists all manner of publishers, large and small.

That's realy cool!!! I wish her the best of luck with it.

I hope you read it, Bruce. That may be quite a trip down memory lane!

Thanks Guys
Im going to check Barnes and Noble for "Writers Market"

I was 12 and Patty was only 8 at the time of the big move to Oregon. She has had a lifetime to write it. I think its a "We are not in Kansas anymore" kind of story. Im going to buy the first copy.

To be clear, I should point out that I haven't personally had my hands on a "Writer's Market" in many, many moons. But I would be extremely surprised if they're not still being put out. Or something very similar.

I'll have to get a copy of that.:D To see if you were a mean Brother.;) ;)

Im not the mean one, our older brother and sister were twins and they caused all kinds of trouble. Dad had to pull over about 20 times on the way to Oregon and whip their butts.
