Sal and co,

Just wanted to pop in and mention I've found a new use for my Spyderco.
I've been an Endura fan for a many, many years and it's my current (last three years) EDC. I work Security at a local community college and one of the services we provide is Lockout service. If any of our students lock their keys in their car (this happens like once a week) we (ME) are only too happy to go out and pop the lock.

Well the first thing I do to open the vehicle is slide a slim jim between the window and door frame. This is my version of foreplay as I'm not real good with a slimjim, and it's more of an exploratory thing for me. The pain is trying to get the slimjim or wedge or any other tool down in there to do the dirty work. This is where my Endura comes into play. It's out of my pocket, open and in that slot just as neat as you please and then I pry outwards just a bit and Viola! I can slide any other tool I need down in there and get to work.

It absolutely makes my job easier and I never had to sweat breaking it or getting a tool stuck. Just wanted to drop a line and share my user story.

:D

Nice story, it's good to see that your Endura is taking light prying well. A member here who shall remain...Nameless... broke off the first third of his Endura's blade taking up a staple. By the way, does using a knife of that size get any reactions from sheeple/the general public? Just curious.
