John built me a really nice Lobo a while back... but I was overly picky and wanted a change in the handle combo. John obliged quite nicely and then when I got the Lobo back I got to thinking how it would probably look cool in a more 'antique' or 'blued' look. I also polished some of the edges of the handle a bit to better 'fit' my hand. Subtle... but feels great in the hand.
So I grabbed my cold blue and went to town on it. I really love the way it turned out and after polishing the convex edge back up she's a great working blade now. Here are a couple pics to try and show it off.
I'll try and get outside and take a few pics in better light and hopefully show off the finish a bit better. I really like the size and shape of this blade.
