My Locked CRK Green Beret Testing Thread

I just noticed my GB testing thread was locked. I don't think this was necessary to do so. The thread has gone 300 posts with a good debate with the exception of a few such as bearcut and Team Sergeant who couldn't debate without insults.

Spark: you came in at the last post and responded only after the thread was locked and gave your opinion on it and myself or others could not respond to your opinion.

This is your place and I respect this and you make the rules I respect this but this was low on your part to only respond after the thread was closed.

I'm posting this in the service and support forum and voicing my position on this matter as a blade forum supporter.
 
It was a coincidence -- Spark just happened to post at the same time Joe Talmadge was closing the thread.

I haven't read the whole thread, but my impression is Joe thought the personal attacks had gotten out of hand and the substantive discussion was over.

Okay I see the times now. This can happen. Thanks for clearing this up. I retract my statement on this part. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part Spark. :)
 
No worries. I hadn't followed the thread before now, and had just been skimming through today, then typing up my response when Joe came in and locked it. I agree with his opinion and support his decision - there could have been a lot more civility in the discussion.

Your tests are what they are. We're not going to try to keep the "word" from getting out about them or anything - I think they serve a purpose and, if nothing else, are entertaining to say the least. So please rest assured that it wasn't locked because of the subject matter, but more because people can't be polite it appears.
