My lonely first custom folder acquisition.

I made the leap into 'Custom Folders' this year at Blade '08. I looked at one gentleman's Chamblin and a Ruple but I wasn't ready to dive in that deep yet. He had this Alsdorf reasonably priced, for a New York knife purveyor, and I liked the color of the bone and the fine scroll work. Pardon the atrocious camera work.

You better hang on to that one, I have not seen one of Mikes that had the scroll work in the past two years, now he may have done some, but me no see them. I almost pulled the trigger on that one at Blade, but the seller was on break and I did not make it back, great score why don't you join his social club. Sometimes we get previews of knives that will be posted.
