This sheath is a one of a kind made by my friend Gary. He haunts these forums and I met him last year. I actually found him on ebay and after some talking he lives two towns over.

I have found a new for a sheath more so now that I started another second job. Grave yard shit doing security. So alot of walking and little odd jobs. I wanted something super secure. This will also be great some camping season.
I asked for a sheath with the following criteria.

-Multi angle carry for vertical, scout and 45 degree but no tech lock
-Deep carry as if in the pocket
-Some type of option for carrying as a neck knife or other lashing options
-Antiqued look

Basically he came up with what you see below, he even added some lizard skin which looks awesome. I left it in his hands and he went above and beyond.
By simply removing the screw bodies and placing them in different spots you can carry this sheath in 8 directions with even more adjustment options.
100% leather. It also allows for neck carry in the hiking season.
Made of heavy duty leather and lined with soft pig skin.

Also a few shots of my knife gaining plenty of character. Just did my first sharpening yesterday evening since the initial factory touch up. She seems to be nice and tough, cutting everything from wire, bone, wood , plastic and much more. What else rite?

Let me know your thoughts on the sheath. It was 100% his design. It is super comfy as well.
The sheath looks bigger than it is in the picture on my belt. It looks smaller in person.

Wow Matt!! That's a great looking sheath!! I really like the ability to do so many things with it. Very versatile.

Nothing, whats wrong with yours?

What's wrong with your pocket ?

Like I said above, in case you skipped what I wrote.
I needed something more secure for work and camping. This sheath holds the knife very tight and it takes about 4X the amount of pressure to remove than in pocket. Considering I either work on construction sites, and my security area is a few square miles I think I would rather not lose the only knife I own.
Plus I love neck sheaths, and most of all cool toys be it steel or leather.
At home and around town it stays clipped into pocket. So about 50/50.
Anything else big guy.

Your impossible, read above.
I supported a good local guy who does this for a hobby as well.
I never lost a folder either, and this is my only own. Very special to me.
Off to the the shift until sun rise.
Let me know of any ideas to improve the design or your thoughts.

I made my post before your edit , cool sheath.;)

Most of most of my pocket seam is non existent on all my work pants. I need new pants from clip wear.

Your also not impossible. I'm just tired and thought u were being a pain In My rear.

Matt, that is cool. Always wanted to try a cross draw sheath. That one looks very well make.

I have a thread around here somewhere about losing my knife that was clipped in my pocket. They were tactical pants with the reinforced seam so the knife clipped in VERY tight....AND I had NEVER lost a knife prior to that day (and even had a bit of a snarky feeling for anyone that could be so obtuse to loose a knife from their pocket...as if they should be able to feel it fall out).

Like I said, that is how I felt before that day.

Live and learn ;) Confidence is what you have right before you fully understand the problem.

So, in a very wordy way....I ENTIRELY get you wanting a sheath that offers additional security against accidental discharge;)

Nice knife, as well!

edit to add: here is that thread I mentioned: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...hat-it-feels-like-to-lose-a-(special)-Sebenza

Dr Fosg8 it works really well in the cross draw actually, if you ever want to try one even in a different style, shoot me an email.

Unit, that is one of the best stories I have ever read on here. And the pictures made it even better. I couldnt help but burst out laughing when you talked about checking your pocket 50 times. I know what it is like to lose something dear, luckily I have always found it. But just like you, never give up and it usually works out.

I doubt I will use this sheath all the time. Even at work I will use it in my pocket depending on the pants. But at certain times. I will either be in the sheath or inside my pocket.
Thanks again for the story. :)
