When I was young I sliced bread for a living, but didn't make enough money
to get married. Then one day my father gave me a wonderful knife that
allowed me to cut to loaves at a time. I saved enough money to get married.
Then when the baby came along I took my money I had saved and bought a
longer knife and cut slice three loaves at a time! Hooray! But then, I
could earn no more as every longer knife I tried sliced unevenly or was too
unwieldy to manipulate. Then finally, I met an Irishman with a large blade,
long enough for that extra loaf and perfect for the job! I was SO excited
buying it from him and ran home to tell my wife that it was our LUCKY DAY!
Why, because I had found...

a four loaf cleaver.

true stinker.

but really, can you imagine that cleaver? would probably weigh around 60 lbs. if the blade was 4 x 6" = 24" long, then the handle would have to be at least 14" to counterbalance. You would probably have to two-hand it to use it. Then, on top of all that, it would the only serrated cleaver known to man.

What a knife...

Nice story, anyway.
