A few days ago I was camping...as I’m walking back to camp guess what? I find a Uncle Henry King Ranch knife just sitting on the ground...its mine now...it was full of sand and all but works fine now.... so I wanna know, what are your greatest finds?

What a great find, good for you. :)

I found a diamond ring once. I do appliance repair and was cleaning out the lint from the dryer. Damn, could not believe my eye's :eek:

I did give it back to the lady. She had been missing it for over a year. She turned it in to the insurance company and all. A year after she lost it she now has the insurance money and her ring.
 
Not sure if this counts but:

It was graduation day for my at the time girlfriend. And on a day like that girls expect something. I was on my way in thinking "oh god she's gonna be pissed" when suddenly i step on something. It turned out it was a lil greenish bouncy ball. And seeing how I had forgotten to get her anything I had to find a way to give that dirty, grungy bouncy ball to her as a present and make it seem sweet.
So I picked it up and walked straight to the bathroom where I cleaned off half of it to a shine. So now one side was dirty, grungy, muddy and just generally unclean...and the other half was so clean it shined. After sitting for what seemed to be for hours through her ceremony thing I met up with her and a lil later (and when there wasn't anyone around so I wouldn't feel so stupid) I told her what it meant.
Of course it was all complete BS and made up, but she didn't need to know that. I told her the dirty side was how I used to be in general, didn't know what I wanted and did stupid things. And the clean side was me after being with her. She thought it was so sweet :barf:





After rereading that post, I've come to realize that this is probably the most boring post ever made in this forum. But I felt like sharing. BTW the only knife I ever 'discovered' was some probably $2 POS that doesn't even have a name.
 
I'd have to say, my greatest find was the lady I now call my wife.:) My second greatest find was this forum, because I won a Sebenza here.:D

Amen Bro! Same for me.... 'cept for the Sebenza part;)
 
i found a gerber ez-out with the ats blade once. i had it for a year and then it got lost. got a new one though. i love those knives
