THANX FOR LOOKING

MICKEY77,

Got mine from them a few months ago. Never had a problem buying from Greg. Remember, the holiday is coming so probably they're busy. I know Skylands CS are one of the best. If you don't like it just send it back to them, they'll be happy to replace it. Like what Greg always says "Just send it back coz I want you to be happy".

Blade off center? Ahhh... the famous BM blade off centering. Try adjusting the screw tension maybe it's loose. Or if still doesn't work send it to BM.

I also got my M2 Styker for Skylands! They sent it right away, no probs!
My Stryker has been used harder that any of my other folders. I use it to deburr metal parts at work. If my blade goes out of alignment I just flex the whole knife until it comes back into the right position! IF it ever wears out, I will order another one from Skylands!

neil, why don't you use m-2 in small knives? it seems m-2 is making a comeback in knives. i'm recieving some barstock near end of the month.

I too have had problems with my M2 being off center. It was actually scratching the blade every time I closed the piece.

Two things to try:

1. Try to bend the WHOLE piece; titanium is nice and all, but it is flexible. Even heat can affect it!

2. Try losening ALL the screws on the piece a little, then tighten them ALL back up again. If you like the piece loose, you may see that the blade shifts off center. Tightening the pivot screw could help this. See if you can make a compromise between the action's speed, and the piece's alignment.
If all else fails, send the piece back to BM...skip the middle man-save time and BM is better qualified to FIX instead of replace!

I sent BM my M2 Stryker last year...they replace the scratched blade, set the knife of to MY specs, and even cleaned up the G10 a bit!

My stryker is the smoothest liner-lock i own!
