So I thought I had perfection with my Spyderco Military. It's an awesome knife and i carry it often. Bought a CRK Sebenza 21 LG Carbon fiber, also perfection. Carry that when the military isn't in my pocket. My cabelas version D2 Griptilian is also in my top 3 carry. That one gets rotated in when i need a robust knife. Now since i got the manix 2 xl, i realize it is perfection. I've always loved that type of blade shape, the lock is nice, it carries nice. I think it kicked out those 3 knives for a looooooooooong time.
 
I like it, but it's got two things that bug me. My pivot comes a tiny bit loose after a couple of opening and closings, and I can't get the grit out of the pivot. It's smooth as glass, just I can feel and sometimes hear grit. Of course, I could LocTite the pivot and take it apart to clean it, but I guess I love to bitch about it instead. ;) :D




Love this knife!!!! It's right up there in my top 5 EDCs.
 
Wish it had a compression lock and smoothed out liners. I'm not doing well with gloves and the locking mechanism.
 
I love the Manix 2 XL. It's 2nd in my rotation behind my para military 2. It shelved my Emerson CQC 15
