My meager collection

I decided today to take some pictures of the current status of my collection since I sold off so many knives last year and didn't have any pictures of a couple of the newest blades.

It seems pretty humble compared to what a lot of guys here have, but I am comfortable with each knife as a user (except the AK... it's a guilty pleasure). All but the two newest have sheaths, and the orders have been placed for those. I hate owning a knife I don't have a sheath for unless it is a kitchen knife.

I told myself last year that I was going to sell off every knife I own that doesn't get used (except the AK), and I did just that. I'm sure I'll pick up a few more this year... I'm gonna find a new "dress" knife next I think. Something for regular carry when I'm not working. Something satin with rope-cut snakeskin, hopefully.
 
Great looking group you have there. And the sheath for the AK is TOP NOTCH!!!

What is the first knife below the machete on the right side of top picture?
 
That is a very nice working group of blades you have, not meager from my perspective.

The small one with the green handle? That's a Bark River Trail Buddy. They released them earlier this year... I had that one made with green linen handles with yellow liners, it arrived just in time to be used as a meat knife for my Super Bowl party. :D :D
 
Wow- if Custom shop SAR8's with desert ironwood or whatever exotic wood on there is meager- where do I sign up? Hehehheh. Great pics man and I love the 'meager' collection. Sweet fiddleback and BR machete's. I love those BR custom machetes especially. I got one recently. Thin and razzzr sharp slicer.
 
Meager? Nah. I think it is great that most everything you have is a user. I personally wouldn't have it any other way. :thumbup:
 
d. farmer has such a specific visual style, you can tell one of his choppers at first glance from a mile away.

Meager? That seems to be a bit of an overstatement.

Nice collection I wish I had those Busse's.

Nice collection (I don't know about 'meager' though)... I love the SAR-8 & the AK sheath is gorgeous! :thumbup::thumbup:
