I don’t like the mini copperlock. The beak is right where I want to put my finger. But I carried another one several years. When I came into this one I resolved not to love it. But I been carrying it and it’s growing on me.

The blade has some play and in its furthest off center it touches the liner. The other side it doesn’t. I’m considering sending it to case to have it checked out. Y’all reckon they will do anything?

Anyways. It’s growing on me as a secondary but I still don’t like it!

No takers eh. I guess I’m the only one that has a love-hate relationship with a pattern.

Well we are the complete opposite. You carry and use a Mini Copperlock while hating it. I love the pattern but never carry mine!

Shown here with it's single-blade Mini Trapper sibling:

It could be better...main fault I find with it is skimpy scales giving a thin feel- even worse with the full size Copperlock.

I got hold of a Stag one, pretty ugly Stag which is not unusual from CASE. Frankly, it's fugly, looks like a Python that's swallowed a Boar from above, great fat lump in the middle. But you know what? it feels superb in hand, very comfortable & grippy. So I should hate it from the looks (it was some hideous albino look Stag when I got it, good tea bath settled that) But I enjoy carrying it and using it, very good lock-up and no blade play.

I've always thought that for a single blade the copperhead bolster was just the thing to protect fingers and pockets from sharp edges. I don't often carry single blades, so maybe in practice they aren't that good.

I have a love-hate with the Mini Copperlock. Almost too thin and small. But not too big or unwieldy. Nice and pointy and slicely. But that clip is too swoopy.

That said, I got a wonderful example IMHO. Handle material is excellent. Fit and finish are pretty dang good, no blade play, locks tight, almost perfectly centered. Despite the things I don't like, it's one of my favorite knives.
