I am working on re-grinding this thing down to a narrower angle and digging the 2 tone look so far. All I have is a cheap 2 grit stone and it is very slow going...

Any suggestions?

That will be a labor of love doing it by hand on a stone :p

If you take the blade off the handle and remove the thumb disc it will be easier to keep it
all flat and at the same angle, it will also mean you don't mark up the G-10 or disc too. :)

well, you got the labor part right! I really do love this knife though. I have it back together for the time being, but I will be doing the work with the blade off the handle and the disc off the blade. The scrapes in the G10 are from where I attempted to sharpen it once with the stone. That didn't work very well to say the least.

I see, well in that case just break out the elbo grease and get on with it man :D:thumbup:

Awesome.. keep it up. I've thought about doing the same with my beater possibly.
