I am wicked happy, as my beautiful G-10 Mini Grip arrived! WOW! Pix do not do this justice at all!! This knife is gorgeous!! I LOVE how this feels in the hand, it feels so much better, than the previous generation Mini Grips. The blue & grey, and those stand offs.....it is just a stunning knife. OK, enough talking, here are my pix. Thanks for taking the time to look.

I have been eyeballing that exact knife, very nice and a great deal versus aftermarket scales. I might have to sell my extra delica hap40 to fund one of those.
 
Great choice sweet steel and blade design. I have a few 555 with wilks grips and love them
 
Bought that same knife a few months ago. First thing I did was order some custom scales by DeathOfAllThings. The Gray/Blue color scheme just didn't do it for me. The Micarta scales are darker than this pic now. Actually they are almost totally black and I'm loving the knife.

That is just the knife I was eyeballing.:)

I would like to try the 20CV steel.
 
Very nice. I have a 550 and 555 in black Noryl. I really do like that blade. Since they're older, mine are hollow ground. IIRC, the new G10 versions are not HG? I do have a large thumb stud Grip in the new G10 & 20CV. I love the steel. It has performed well in my daily home and warehouse use. No damage, holds its edge for a considerable time, and it's easy to bring back with my strops so I don't have to actually remove much metal. IMAO that was a great choice BM made for their upgrade to the Grips. Been considering getting a small G10 Grip to go with the large.

BTW, when's the surgery? The small Grip is a good choice for an ambi knife that'll work as well for you LH as RH. And you can easily switch back when the shoulder's ready to go again.
 
The Benchmade site says it is a satin finish. I too love a good stonewash finish too. Gull Wing, this is a great knife. I love how good the G-10 feels, and the blue/grey REALLY does it for me!! :)
