Just wondering if anyone has noted that the Native IV is a Mini-Me version of the Mini-Manix. Just wondering?:)

Oh, broke down and bought a Para-Military.

I'm really looking forward to the Para. With the exception of the Deacon, everybody that has one of these seems to be in love with the knife. Right now I'm pocket carrying the Native IV and have the Mini Manix clipped in the back pocket. I guess I won't know for sure how the Para slots between these two but I'm guessing it will infringe more on the Native IV for carry time than the Mini Manix. What do you guys think, will the Para dump the Native or Manix or neither??
 
The above question is a mute point. I got G2's modified CF Stretch in and put the Mini-Manix awayfor a while. The Stretch have very good ergo's for a 3.5inch bladed knife. Its very light and the texturing on the CF is very, very good.

It's strange to me that CF on the Stretch, Native IV, and my Manix 2 all have different textures. Has anyone else noticed this the difference between the Manix and Stretch?
 
Does anybody besides me hate these minor holidays that cause the mail NOT to freaking run??????????????????????????????????????

I went to the best Knife Store in the area...in Freeport Maine, home of LL Beane. Its a retail hot spot. The store was pretty good and had a lot of Spydercos (full retail of course) but no Para so I didn't get to feel one up while I wait for mine since my seller won't mail it till tomorrow.

Not doing so good with this new obsessive behavior pattern I've picked up recently.

To be honest with you, at least right now, I can't see myself carrying anything BUT the Paramilitary. It's nearly as strong as the Manix, full flat grind, and a bit lighter and thinner... you can't go wrong with it (the Manix is easier on the eye though... but the Para does have it's own unique beauty).

Give it a week or pocket time, I bet it won't be coming out after that week is over... and if you don't like it, I'll give it a good (free) home so it'll get all the love and attention it deserves.

My para has taken over my pocket, I can't seem to carry anything else! I just got mine over this past weekend and MAN! I love this thing:thumbup: I got the Black Coated plain edge version. Now I want more Para's. I'm hooked. I want a plain finish version. I now have 5 Spydies!! Need... More...
 
I just ordered the Native4 for $90!!!!!!!!!!

I cant wait for it to get here!
 
Would you be able to take a side by side shot of the Native and Para? I'd like to see how they compare in size.
 
As soon as the Para gets here I'll take a picture of my modified Stretch, Native IV, Mini Manix and the Para. If I'm all gaagaa about the Para maybe I'll call it my "Must Have" Spyderco picture.
 
Para came in today. I'm impressed with the knife. The G10 texture is outstanding. The F&F is perfect. It just may be smoothest knife I've ever held. Lock up is tight and everything is strait and centered. The blade seems like it should be longer but I like the width of the blade (bigger stock like my mini-manix). The length of the handle is nice...feels real good in my hand.

It's going to be real hard to decide what gets clipped in the pocket but I'm sticking with this Para for a while.

The Native is a sweet knife. I'm edc'ing it in my front pocket right now with the Para clipped in back. Come back and let everybody know what you think after you've had a chance to play with the Native.
 
I really like that stretch, I was this close to getting a blue frn zpd version, but after carrying the para, I know I would miss that sharp tip.
