My Mini Roadie project

Picked up a Moddified mini roadhouse, it was a little rough and moddified. So off to Josh at Razors Edge Knives for some work.. Full zero regrind and sterilization.

First picture is of how I got it! Now that Josh is done I am sending it to Rayster for scales and backspacer...

damn he cleaned that up well, can't wait to see it finished. This gives me an idea to pick up an abused or rough knife and "restore" it.
 
Yeah its great to have professionals like Josh at REK and rayster to breath life back into a rough knife. There are alot of pros out there i just happen to really like josh and raysters work...so so clean
 
Gonna be killer with the new scales! Oh, and just for clarification, it's not a zero grind. It has about a 5 thou thick bevel on it for edge stability. I checked it when zeroed and it seemed a little weak. Now you won't have to baby it as much as a zero grind. 😀

I worked really hard to try and match all the bonzing.. polish then heat polish then heat etc.. I think its close

It was just one pic before you couldn't see all the detail. I thought it was more blade show case lol Now you have more up, it looks great. I really like the pivot. Clip does match well. I think that bronze would on my A-100. It's a classic look.
 
Yeah i really like the bronze.. I am most likley going to put a steel flame clip on it but it was worth the effort. Nath makes a very cool pivot. Rayster is going to be making a set of forest green scales and geared backspacer, hoping it really looks good with the bronze. Your A100 would look even sweeter with a nath ti pivot and a bronzed clip for sure... Thanks MCS

Looks great. A geared backspacer (like the one Ray made for my OD Tiger) might just be the thing that allows the MiniRoadie to work for my paws.
