She had some handtime shaped black canvas slabs installed and all a touch up on the satin and a hell of a sharpening.

Thanks to the Busse crew!

I can't wait to put her back to work.

I think the handles turned out great. Felt great. I know you missed her so I am glad she is back home where she will be loved.

might be worth me sending in my abuser to get the blade refinished and all purty. Garth can you guys do that without messing with the handles. The handles do come off but they need to go back on with the original bolts.

We can do quite a bit of cleanup with out touching the handles but really just depends how in depth of a cleanup you want.

The blade is satin and I have hand polished it after beatings. I would just like to get the over blade to look like new, and I have removed the handles and re-installed them before, so I think you guys can as well. All I want is a nice satin finish on the blade with zero edge.

I added a few more shots. She feels great in the hand, MUCH better than the standard blocky slabs. Did I memlntion that she shaves? I'll see if ai have any before shots.

Cobalt, nice one you have there! How much wood has she destroyed? Based on my prior research of old SHBM related posts it appears you have had many a Mistress.
 
Looks very nice. How long did the spa treatment take? I have sent multiple emails to the shop with no response. I might have to try calling them.
 
That is a fine oldie!!!! I just wish the solid bolts would be more common. The feel is completely different than tubes...
