Then you should have waited for a week for this post, WITH PICTURES! I'm tired of cleaning up drool off my keyboard!
...but anyway, did you get any optional features? I've purchased one straight catalog model and a couple with features (#1 style hilt and border patrol handle).

That said, I went down to check the Gun Club P.O. Box today, and while there checked mine too. There was 'a key', which could be good or bad...in this case, it was good. From a friend, a newer RMK Model #14, SS blade, NS hilt, otherwise standard...very good stuff!
