My modified Paklite with Lignum Vitae Scales

I got this Paklite on clearance a while back and decided to modify it a bit. It started life with orange paint, so I assume these are unfinished seconds of a sort. This is why the finish on mine is less than stellar.

I made the sheath as well. Criticism welcome.

i like everything about it except Bucks etch is gone. why in tarnation are they using an etch?!?! i really dislike this decision. no disrespect to the OP.
 
That's a great idea to add the wood scales to the Paklite.

I prefer the stamp also, some of these i think are stamped, but the scale would cover near all of it even if it was.
I wish they marked them on the blade so if someone were to handle or wrap it you could still see the mark. I've got a some i am going to handle when i get some time.
