My most favorite place in the world

this is at Lower Howard's Creek nature preserve.

My favorite place in the world. It's only about 15 minutes away from my house, and I've been coming here since I was about 5 years old.

this is my home. I love these woods, and I will never leave them.

Great pics. I love wandering around the woods and finding remnants from another time like that chimney. Thanks for sharing. Every time I see a post like this, it's another kick in the butt to get the fam out of the house and into the sticks.

I bring the good old woodland camo tarp when I go to camp there, but camping is not allowed.

I do it anyway.

the concrete box is actually something to stop cows from leaving the farm property. and Yes, that is a rib cage complete with a spine and skull.

I'm guessing either a dog or coyote, and yes, it is there because of me. Stupid Chihuahua's...
