Moose posted a thread a while back about his favorite place to hang out, now i'm going to post mine.

this is at Lower Howard's Creek nature preserve.

My favorite place in the world. It's only about 15 minutes away from my house, and I've been coming here since I was about 5 years old.

this is my home. I love these woods, and I will never leave them.

Thanks.

Looks like a nice place to hang out for sure. Your 16 is starting to look well-loved...I like it.

I can see why you love it. Beautiful area, thanks for sharing.

That reminds me of an old feed and seed that had a swimming hole right by it that I spent my summers as a young lad inner tubing at...cool place and nice photos!

Great pics. I love wandering around the woods and finding remnants from another time like that chimney. Thanks for sharing. Every time I see a post like this, it's another kick in the butt to get the fam out of the house and into the sticks.

Its a beautiful place MKK! And theres a turtle! Oh man, I like looking at them! <Because I can relate to them as I am slow too> :-)

Very nice, but what out for that turtle looks like he is running away with you BK16!

Cool pics bud! Looks like the perfect mix of nature and old man made ruins. Plus you get the creepy old bones too, that would be a great Halloween hike haha.

Love the pics. Is it me or does it look like a rib cage in the 2pics with the concret box

the concrete box is actually something to stop cows from leaving the farm property. and Yes, that is a rib cage complete with a spine and skull.

Great pics MKK! What animal is the skeleton of? And is it there because of you? ;)

I'm guessing either a dog or coyote, and yes, it is there because of me. Stupid Chihuahua's...
