My mother passed away this morning at about 1:30. She would have been 85 on the 19th of this month. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 weeks ago and was to start chemo today. She refused surgery. Monday she wasnt feeling well so my sister (an RN) took her to the emergency room where they determined she had had a mild heart attack. She had signed a DNR so they kept her as comfortable as possible to the end. I live 200 miles away ( and am in relatively poor health) so I couldnt be there but I will be making the trip later today. Please keep her in your prayers.
Even at my age, it isnt easy to lose a parent (my father is still with us, at least). So, if you live near your parents go over and give them a hug. If you live far away, call them. I call my parents twice a week and last spoke to Mom Saturday Im glad I did.
Thanks for listening it helped to get this off my chest. Maybe now I can catch some sleep.
I'll be away from any computers so you won't be hearing from me for a while.
