sitting here right now enjoying a big serving of baked beans (with diced onions sauteed in real lard, and a good dollop of blackstrap molasses in the beans) and a couple of buns with cheese. damn fine eating! cooked in my cast iron stew pot of course.

I served it in my trusty (and rusty) steel Estwing #10 gold pan. I can go from panning gold all day to digging a fire pit with it, and finally to eating out of it (after a good wash of course).

Its tough as a gold diggers shovel, its light, cheap to buy, its multipurpose (mixing bowl, baking tin, scoop, gold pan, eatin dish, wash basin, etc) , and i git my iron vitamins from it! Nuff said.

gonna hang this off my pack and let it clang around :D

sorry, no pics, no camera.

I've got an old gold panning pan that I picked up somewhere. It stays in my camper and I use it as a food and water dish for my Lab during hunting season. Multipurpose for sure.

He forgot something, you can polish it up for a signal mirror, provided you have the resources.
