Here is my CQC14 after being freshly neutered

Then it needed to be sterilized:

and thanks to STR it is now even stronger!

Pic is hijacked from STR's forum, he has a few more pics if anyone is interested. This is now my perfect knife...next maybe a Krein grind and some Micarta scales...or maybe not:D

My Horseman is currently with STR for the same framelock conversion.....looks awesome dude!
 
Thanks guys, I'm stoked, this knife is awesome...the Ti slab is thicker than the blade itself!, heavy duty are the only words to describe it. I guess I would compare it to my ex-SnG in build quality(overbuilt), and ergo's..only with a legal blade length:D

STR does a mean frame lock, thats for sure :thumbup:

That is one real nice knife - how'd you talk Steve into doing it - I thought he was sorta off doing any more 14 framelocks? I own two 14's- still one of the most useful cutting tools I use - big enough to get a grip on and the blades are just great cutters.
You did a much better job dewaving yours than I did!
 
That is friggin sweet. Rivals any prod. Emerson I have seen or owned to date! keepem sharp

I must have caught STR in a moment of weakness...Once he said he would do it, I didn't waste any time and got it in the mail before he ccould change his mind:D
IIRC your the reason I got this 14, with the intention to de-wave it. I'm glad I did, this is a great knife with excellent ergo's and when your business has you working in different municipalities, with different blade restrictions, I can stay legal with the 14.
