Good Day, Buck Folks,

Last Sunday I introduced my new Buck 119 - 75th Anniversary Edition on ITE's SPS. This weekend is the first time I used it in the kitchen for a meal prep. A fun time! So a few photos to again show off this cool-looking Buck.

Before this new Buck, I've used an Al Mar 4-1/2" blade for my kitchen cutlery. It was a Christmas gift from my daughter a couple of years ago. Seen here next to my new 119. The Al Mar "rested" today, and the 119 went into action.

Ah, the Buck 119 meets the Rival Crockpot.

Veggies diced and ready. I also added some Brussel sprouts, which I decided not to dice.

The 119 made short order of taking the fat off the side of roast. Also cut the roast in half. Seemed close to the action of a warm knife cutting through a stick of butter! Potatoes are also diced and ready to cook.

Prep done, crockpot started on low, and very much looking forward to the aroma in the kitchen after I get home from church today.

So just a simple photo story about my new Buck 119. It'll all end up a "yum" today, I'm sure! :) Have a restful day, Everyone.

Appreciate the cooking comments! Got home from church, and I almost thought I could smell the roast even before I opened the front door. ;) I cooked the small, 1-1/2 lb. roast + veggies for 7 hours; 5-1/2 hours on low, and 1-1/2 hours on high. Only seasoning I added was several dashes of Mrs. Dash Original blend. Finally, added my favorite side dish, which I like with this meal -- applesauce with a couple dollops of cottage cheese. Enjoyed some iced tea, too. OK. I just finished dinner, and it was definitely YUM!! I have at least two more meals to go from this crockpot!

So one more photo to share. I set up my tray in the living room and enjoyed dinner while watching some of the final round of the PGA Tour, The Honda Classic. Thanks for watching me prep and have dinner today!

Definitely YUM :*)

Very cool, thanks for sharing the photos! My wife uses her 877 all the time in the kitchen and I frequently use my Paklite caper, great paring knives.

I think your cooking rates right up there with owning a Buck Knife - looks mighty good! OH
