Today I received a new 18" GS, with wood grips and all steel mountings, made by Bura. It is AWESOME!!! Bura used very nice wood on it and carved some finger grooves into it. Suffice it to say that this blade REALLY moves. As much as I like my 15" AK, this one clearly outshines it for martial purposes. When I slice it through the air, it is not difficult to move it at a speed where you hear the whoosh of the wind being sliced. Truly an awesome blade. It is about as razor sharp as you can get, so I must make damn sure to keep it away from my kids.

Thank you again, Uncle Bill, for setting me up just right here. :)

As usual, Bura "improved" the design for this special order. You may be ready for the movies, Ad, if you can make the knife "whoosh" when you swing it.

I wish I could post a picture here, but unfortunately I do not have the capacity to do so.

Uncle Bill, I wish I could make it into the movies by whooshing a khuk through the air:D . What a way to make a living.

Ad, I have a 16" GS made by the KNN. It's also really fast and it also makes the whoosh when it slices threw the air.:D I would also love to see a pic of your GS. It sounds awsome.

Ad,

Congratulations! The GS is one of the most versatile, user friendly khukuris. I have an "improved" 21" made by Sanu that I love as much as the UBE.

To quote Pala Kami Sherpa - "My favorite khukuri and one I would select if I could have only one khukuri.........If I were personally in charge of khukuri issue to the Ghorkalis this is the khukuri I would equip them with."

Ad, if you have a picture of your Bura GS on your hard drive, email it to me at kkmark@rogers.com and I'll post it for you. I'm a fan of just about anything that Bura makes, and I'd love to see what he did with your GS.

Congrats on the new blade Ad:D

Sounds incredible!! I'll chime in also and beg for pics!:)

Oh, and I too can post them for you now! Whooohoooo!:)

To each his own. Remember the guy who special ordered the 25 inch, 7/8 thick AK?

Uncle, do you happen to have a pic of that knife that you could post?
