i am not sure - i would guess 3 or 4 pounds

1/2 inch at base of spine to the bend tapering down to 3/8 inch the rest of the spine after the bend i would imagine it would make a good entry tool

when i pulled it from the sheath i said something to the effect of "holy #%*&"

this is where I would say "gorgeous knife" but that one is a monster!

Ruggedly handsome knife!

thanks - i like ruggedly handsome - reminds me of an episode of married with children

That is one bad ass blade man enjoy it. Looks like a beast.:thumbup:

Nice khuk for your first Eric. All that steel working must have given you a penchant for the bigger and heavier blades. As long as you can swing it that big boy will do some work. Congratulations!!

thanks guys -- there is just some part i believe in most men that is only fully awakened when he holds a nice solid chunk of forged steel in his hand

I'm sure you'll love it.

One thing: be careful. Mine surprised me with how much it'll go through in one swing.

Very true indeed. What a chunk of khukuri to hold. It has a powerful appearance to it. Power!!! Congrats, awesome khukuri you got!

Good for you! You started at the biggest of the line, now there's nowhere to go but down! :D

Seriously that is one monster CAK. You have to try it out on some firewood and see how it works. Watch your toes!

Thanks for sharing.

Norm

P.S. You have a Falcata? That's one model I was never able to get a hold of. In three years I think I saw two come up, so they were pretty scarce for a while...

I think you have a point -- Ive been swinging hammers all my life from roofing hammers to all types sledge hammers and i used to carry a 5 pound hammer on my belt all day

I actually enjoy swinging hammers and axes so that might be part of it - once on the forum here i described My newly acquired HI Indonesian sword as a "large sharp sledge hammer "

I meant that as a good thing but i think others might have thought it as a complaint :)

thanks guys - yes Cpl and Norm over swing could be brutal even life threatening - in the video i made for the farm knife i said something about how i wanted to make sure i kept my toes and knee caps !

the really cool - super cool thing is i just mentioned to Yandu awhile back that i wanted one. - she emailed me that one was available i had not even seen it.

i just figured if she wrote me she must think i would like it -- and i think she picked out for me better than if i had picked it out myself - or maybe all of them are just so good that i cant go wrong -- Thanks again to Yangdu
