My New 531

I owned a 531 when they 1st came out. Hated the fact they had the First Production engraving on the blade. I knew that going into it, but thought it wouldn't bother me. Boy was I wrong. I sold it and have regretted it ever since. A few recent threads sparked a new interest in the 531. I watched some You Tube videos and decided to order one.

Well, it arrived today. I have both a deep-pocket carry clip in black and polished ordered, that I should have next week. I'm not sure which one I'll like better on this 531. Now, I've been eyeing the REI 531-1501 and am debating on whether I really "need" it or not.

Handled one at a gun store and ended up buying one online a week later. Great lightweight EDC, was great for carrying in scrub pockets at my old job.

For EDC tasks, nothing beats the 531.. Slim, ultra-light weight, and good for EDC/self-defense - what else do you really need..? It's moved to my top 3 favorite BKC grouping..

So far, I'm loving this s 531. It carries pretty well in my RFP.
