I just received my new to me Bk5. 91bravo shipped this to me. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship on this Beautiful blade is insane!!!!! Straight razor sharp and sexy as hell. Cudos to 91bravo:thumbsup:

That's because I had to sand it flush! When I put them on the knife, the scales were sitting proud all the way around, so I whipped out the sanding block and sanded them flush with the tang. Once I had the scales the way I wanted them, I sandblasted the whole thing.

Is this your first bk5?
 
Naw, its my third and best 5. You set the bar pretty high. All my other Bk's sighed and said we ain't gonna see his hand for Awhile:D
 
ha ha! I'll probably set my incoming 5 up the same way, only I'll have the Tomar's micarta handles, which are different than the other green canvas I've seen.
 
I have them on my 20 and they are more natural in color and the micarta itself is different as well. It's real hard, like the micarta that Battle Horse or LT Wright uses on their knives.
 
The Tomar's ones feel more dense and less "fabric" feeling is how I'd describe it.
