My new Alan Davis folder.

My newest Alan Davis folder arrived today. Man, I really like his work ..... and, I am a sucker for Damascus, Mammoth Ivory and a Wharncliffe blade! What more could I ask for? Well, maybe more of his knives!!

Damascus and ivory is my favorite combination as well.

Thanks Dale .... yes, it's a high carbon Damascus. Collection is growing .... but am still pretty much a virgin at this, as I just started a year ago. But, the addiction has taken hold and won't let go!

Mission? I don't know. I just look at it like this ..... I've lived a hard life and as the years pile on, may as well enjoy the ones that are left .... while I still can enjoy them!!! Now, if you can find a way to get some of that cold Canadian air to move down here over Lake Erie .... I might get to enjoy some good ole lake effect snow! Last year was pretty much a bust and this year isn't starting out much better!

Oh my .... I hope you are not saying that Alan was making this for you and you had to cancel it. If that's the case, I really feel sorry ...... at the same time, however, have to feel selfishly glad! Really like her. Bigger than I originally figured based on the description .... but very much to my liking.
