At this point, my folding knife collection is dwarfed by round holes! The only other non Spyderco knives I have are a mini and regular Ritter Grip! Anywho, I recently got a Sage 2. I can say with a certainty that it is my favorite folding knife. I also have a Ti Military and I was left unimpressed. But the Sage 2 is something else! It is the perfect knife in my books! Okay, rant over :p
 
I just got a Sage 2 last week and am very impressed too. I've *never* bought an extra version of the same knife before in 20 years, but am seriously considering it. Typically, not a big fan of liner locks so no Sage 1, but I had a Sebenza 10 years ago and sold it b/c the thumbstuds would catch and open sometimes coming out of the pocket. The thing that kept me away from the Sage 2 for this long was the price but I finally bit the bullet and glad I did. I tried a Sage 3 and I'm just too retarded to smoothly close that one with one hand.
 
Moved to a millie it replaced the Alias 1 in my pocket cant say enough about Spyderco. Only thing that would make the millie better is stock tip up carry option. Had to send it out to get a custom tip up conversion. My only issue with the sage series is the wire clip looks flimsy but I will most likley end up with one someday to check it out.
 
If the wire clip is anything like the clip on the Caly 3.5, I can tell you that it's not at all flimsy.
