Hello members....Long time lurker and 1st time pic poster. So I got me a BK2 for xmas and decided to improve the belt loop with borrowed ideas. Ordered me some od green webbing and made a aluminum plate to be sewn between webbing. Also wanted to attach firesteel so 2" folded and sewn webbing worked out perfect. A afternoon on sewing machine and a hammered on snap and heres my new and improved sheath. Love to hear what you guys think. If anybody has questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks guys for feedback. Warrior....try out webbing idea for firesteel loop, better retention and tucks away nicer.

I have been looking for the cable clamps since I saw the one Warrior did and all I have found are white ones. Yak. I like the looks of your with the webbing. Good job!

One of the concerns I had with the webbing loop, was what it would do to the firesteel if it got wet. It would take a bit to dry. That's why I went with cable clamps. Perhaps it wouldn't do anything at all.

Spent the day trying out these new mods. Was very happy with how comfortable it sat on the hip. Returned home and wrapped sheath in about 8 ft of papracord. Next mod will be ordering me a Esee pouch. Thanks again everybody for all the feedback.
