My wait is finally over. It's been a very long time (years). I got it last Saturday. I'm floored by this. Andrew was really responsive to what I was looking for and at first we had doubts, but it came together really well. Sorry for the bad pictures, I'm not very good with cameras and even worse with a cellphone camera.

Specs:

- .2" M390 hollow grind (a pry bar that slices phonebook paper!)
- .1 Titanium liners
- 3.4" blade
- 8.1 oz
- Blade signed by Andrew
- roller bearings instead of washers

It carries extremely well for its size. It opens incredibly smooth and yet locks up like a bank vault. The locking sound is incredibly satisfying it's just this huge CLUNK - it brings a smile to my face every time. I love it. It dwarfs my XM18 and SNG - it's something to see.

Andrew you did such a good job with this!

Nice! That is quite a wait but I think it is well worth it! She is a beauty.

Looks like one helluva heavy duty knife! Congrats. Side note, I've never met Andrew but he always seems like a very nice guy to me.

Congrats!! He is a great guy and his knives are AWESOME!!
Welcome to the world of Demko owners!! Kevin

Very nice combo of handle material, and titanium finish.

If I was lucky enough to have a custom made Demko for me, I would probably get a flat grind, and a thumb plate/pocket hook, and do a thinner stock (because I tend to use my thinner knives more), but let me assure you, I would not turn that beauty down!

Very very nice!

Congrats.....it's a beauty you can beat on. Bearings?....I'm envious!

He was very nice to work with. I have a tendency to weird makers of anything, out because I very much believe that I often can't create anything or design anything as good as the artist/craftsperson. So I'm very liberal with what I want and I really want to hear their opinions. Sometimes, people are use to being told what to do and I'm often like "well, what would you do? whats the best way to work on this?" I really want to trust the skills of the person building something, and that seems to be very rare. Sometimes, the control and autonomy that I give them freaks them out.

My first concepts were terrible - and the more I chatted with Andrew the more I thought we could steer it in a new direction - I'm really happy with the results. I asked him, and I ask all artists - how can you give away something you worked so hard on, something so unique? I don't understand. I'd be terrible because I'd never sell anything I made.

Congrats!

That's a great knife! You'll love it even more with time.

Very high quality, excellent workmanship and fantastic design.

Plus Andrew is a really great guy. His whole family is great. I've met him, his wife, his son and his Mom. All of them are tremendous people.

Congrats again on a great pick up!
