Nice! Looks really good. The texture on the front piece is great!

Dwayne's "Distressed Finish" ... good stuff!

He nailed the fitment on this one too!

I own<ed> Armorall, Pirtle, Rainwalker, Skystorm, Chuddybear, Rowe, Noe, Savage Made, Sagewood, Paul Long and ... and who was the maker who marked his leather with a capital "B"? I can't rightly remember now....

Kydex-wise, I own<ed> BuyBrown, Mashed Cat, and Al Welke.

We have an abundance of riches of gear providers here on Busse...and it's not a X maker is good & Y maker is bad thing...

ALL GOOD, JUST DIFFERENT! :)

Having said that, Dwayne's gear has a certain "heart" in it that gives me a different vibe from anyone else's...again, don't misunderstand me-- there's soul in all these guys' art!...just different with Leatherman. In my mind, I attribute it to his entire family throwin in on his gear and adding their own specialty touches.

I can spot a Chad Pirtle a mile off. I can do the same with Dwayne's. David Brown's work is easily identifiable. Likewise with Paul Long. And I don't mean easily recognized by makers' marks ... you know what I mean.

Western hemisphere folk call it "style".

I prefer to call it spirit. Love you guys!:)

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it.

All those lines, I work towards that natural look when I do this technique and it helps to have a nice abused cow skin to start with. :D

And yes, it feels good to be back with family again.
