I decided to try and expand my collection to something other than Kershaw/ZT and got both these babies in the mail today. I wasn't sure how I was going to like Spyderco knives having never handled one really before but these two are welcome addictions to my collection. The only problem I see is money!!! Where am I going to find the funds to buy all these Spyderco knives I want now???

Good choices. I used to mostly buy ZT, but it's almost all Spyderco now.

Don't you worry. Just keep your eyes on the Exchange, watch it like a hawk. Did I ever tell you how I got my S35VN Para for $90? :)

i got both these for under 200 so i thought i did very well........it made today a great one

Ive made up a small list of Spydercos Im going to try and pick up soon....The top 3 being Domino, Chaparral, and G. Bradley. Any other advice on any???

Don't overlook the Delica. It's the skyline of the Spyderco line. Very light and slicey. A wonderful EDC when hard use isn't on the menu.

I tried one of those sprint Manix 2s I thought the fit and finish was very good although it was not for me. It sat wide in the pocket and the cutting edge to handle was way beyond what I would call acceptable. I still own my blue Tenacious and I'm very happy with it. One day I'll pick up a Caly 3.5 and who know what else

Get an Endura next, or at least put it on the list. Seriously. ;)

And for the price point, the Resilience is great.

Great start to the Spyderco addiction! If you want to splurge, the Southard is pretty good and fun to flip but it is rather expensive :( The Native 5 is also great if you don't mind back locks.

They're both really nice, great choice, but MAN did that Sage 1 dig it's way into my heart...:)

That's a great start, the sage one competes for my favorite spyderco. I would suggest the Caly 3.5 be added to your list, awesome knife right there.

Endura/delica is a classic. Tenacious or persistence if you have an itch but not a lot of cash. Great knives for the money IMO. I am anxiously awaiting a pacific salt SE. The idea of a nearly maintenance free knife is great.

You're going to find that if the PM2 feels right in hand, you're going to compare everything to it and have a very hard time getting it out of your pocket. Whoever says that knife isn't built for hard use EDC is nuts. Or use their folders as prybars.
