I got these two slippies last week. They are a Queen #19 Trapper. The guy I bought from had siguy sharpen one of the blades and it is unbelievably sharp.
The Black buffalo horn is a Moormaker stockman. It is very solid, opens and closes very well, no blade play, great F+F, all around good knife. I am very pleased with both of these knives. Here they are.

I really like the Mooremaker. Been looking for a slipjoint with an awl besides the harnessjack that GEC has out now.

I was just noticing that Moormaker in your collection pic.

Good looking knife.

After using the Mooremaker I found the horn scales a little slippery when my hands got sweaty. Which is very common in South Texas. I may have to have some jigging done to the scales.

Of all the different series of knives Queen has put out...the cocobolo is my favorite....nice trapper you have there.

Yea thats why I bought this guy. I have made some fixed blades from micarta and other materials and cocobolo is one of my favorites to work with.
