In March I'm going for a week to the mountains. Well, mountaineering is a lot of fun... but I feel much better with couple of inches of sharp steel handy. So this time my Reeve MK.VI will walk with me... on my left shoulder may I add And this kydex clips on the MK.VI's guard REALLY good. You can jump with it, shake it, do whatever you want... untill you press kydex with your thumb (as usual in guard area) there is zero chance MK.VI ever leave it's sheath. Simple, but works great. And it's for my own toy finally...

First off - GREAT pics! I like the look of the sheath and the "black-on-black" look. Who made your sheath for you?

Kudos!

Very nice work.I need something like that for my Mountaineer II on my pack.I had one made a while back but it was too tight and would damage finish and the handle as well as the blade.I will send you an e-mail.

Say - that's a mighty fine sheath there, good job! A minimal amount of kydex with the maximum protection for user and knife. Doesn't get much better.

How much for one like that for my 5.5" GB? Let me know via PM if you would prefer.

nice sheath, I have one like that for a bowie knife; no chance of it coming out until I push on the sheath by the knife guard and pull the knife out. Nice knife to take out in the wild. You should have a good time if the knife has anything to do with it :)

Piter,

Very nice work. Looks like your in business now! I bought some kydex awhile ago with a similar intent of making some sheaths for my CRK blades. Thanks for the inspiration.

Tools? Equipment? How is it cut and finshed? Guess I'll do a google search but it looks like the expert is on this thread. Awesome photography too!
