That first picture is just excellent. The color of the flowers brings out the coloration of the handles. Excellent.

ditto!
Wow really gorgeous pix especially the first one. So how long did it take to dispatch the tree with two balisongs?

Chuck is right on the money. That is not only excellent, it is beautiful.

Thanks for all the good feedback guys. Yeah that tree took quite a while with those bali

Actually it took almost a week with an axe a sledgehammer and wedge.

We had a tree like that. I laughed at my dad when he said he was going to cut it down. Then he handed me the axe and said "See, keep your mouth shut, but have fun it builds character" Not only did I learn to shut up, I also learned the importance of sharp and well maintained tools of the trade.

You should send those photos into some sort of contest, you'd have a great shot at winning IMHO

Wow, simply amazing -- my hat off to you too. One thing that I have noticed with thermally oxidized Ti. is that it is slightly hard to phonograph. You really don't get the shine that is in the handles. (one of the reasons, in some circumstances, I don't think people like the look of it from pics) You did a nice job capturing the color and brilliance of those handles. I hope your enjoying the 42 and the other little surprise. There fun to flip!!! Have fun, be good and keep flipping!!!

Woohoo!!
*does the happy puppy dance*
Very soon (probably within a few months) I'll be able to get me a few new balisongs.
I've been out of work over the winter, but start a new job tonight.
At least I'll be able to have stuff sent to me,since Michigan isn't one of those places that you can't ship certain types of weaponry to.
I do love the look of the heat treated handles, that is a very nice look.I've only seen someone heat the titanium rings for chainmail armor before...strange looking shirt.
