So I got bandaids on the tips of my right hand pinky and ring finger from just touching the edge the way Ive touched blade edges all my life. Granted, its best not to fiddle fingers around the edge anyway but I cant help but feel that this blade has a type of sharpness I havent experienced.
The first cut was on my pinkie, i barely touched the edge and felt a slight cold sting and looked and saw no trace of a cut, and for a couple minutes it looked like nothing happened but 5 minutes later blood starter trickling out, just a couple small drops but blood nonetheless, several minutes after contact. Very strange. Im not a knife expert, but have had knives for more than a few decades.
Later that evening I accidentally touched the edge with my ring finger, a slight gentle touch but that one started to bleed right away, and maybe a bit more than the first.
Granted that I should have been more careful and keep fully sheathed when not in use and not leave them naked on the nightstand, but man this steel feels colder and sharper than any Ive handled before.
