Here is my newest batch of knives. I will describe each knife by its picture...all of these knives minus one is for sale. Please let me know if you are interested. My Email is: Knifemaker87@gmail.com
Thanks for looking!
Blake's Skinner
This knife was made for a friend who needed a good knife that would stand up to abuse and stay sharp but not be to expensive. Lucky for him, it was free.
this knife was cut from a file that was differentially tempered. the handle is leather and virgin vinyl; it turned out pretty well. it stays clean and takes abuse like nothing else
Cedar Drop Point
This knife was cut from a piece of 1075 carbon spring steel. The handle is Cedar heart. The blade is convex ground to a zero edge. It is sharp and stays sharp
Tac Tanto
This knife was cut from the same steel as the knife above and has the same type of wood handle.
This is a very comfortable knife to hold in several positions and has a very slim profile so it would work great as a boot knife. it also has a slightly down-curving cutting edge.
Osage Trader
This knife was also a differentially treated file. The handle is made from osage orange wood which is REALLY dense and hard. The handle is almost cilindrical making it very comforable to hold. I hollow ground blade.
Cedar Skinner
This knife was forged and then differentially tempered from a bushhog blade. The blade is hollow ground. The steel is nice and thick
It has a full tang with a tapering thickness. It is a very solid knife with cedar- heart scales.
File Tanto
This Tanto was forged and differentially tempered from a file. It is hollowground and the cedar handle is wrapped. The blade shows some forging marks (from a homemade charcoal forge) The knife is structurally very strong and it has Awesome puncturing power.
Here is the whole batch
Thanks so much for looking...I am currently trying to sell my knives...so if anyone has any expertise on this (very likely) then any help on who to go to..or how to sell them would be helpful. Oh...i am making slip sheathes for all of the knives. all of the other knives i currently have can be seen at: http://community.webshots.com/album/537309251dJUqAQ
Catch y'all later
