Check this out. This is one heck of an impressive knife! I've wanted to order
a Skirmish for awhile, but hearing they were discontinued put me over
the edge! I have to say, it impresses me more than any ZT, even a
300 series(no offense, 300 guys, I feel the 0300 is THE standard). Larger blade, lighter weight and incredible looks IMHO.
Super solid lock up too. I guess it feels so much lighter than
a 300 series because both sides of the handle are titanium. I like
it! :)

its a great knife, but I would sooner pick up a 301 again than the BM. For the same price, I think you get more from the ZT than the BM. the BM is a fairly decent knife though, too bad they are letting it go...

She's a big'un, that's for sure.

Sounds like you have a ZT. I would be interested to hear how they compare in use.

I prefer the ZT 0200 to the 0300 but I agree the Benchmade can stand up to either of them. They had a winner with the Skirmish, and as much as I like big folders, they had a real winner with the mini Skirmish, too.

The Skirmish is a great knife, I'm a big fan of Blackwood designs. But it's no ZT 300 in my opinion.

I have both. Something about the ZT makes me go there for something more than just EDC. The Skirmish is too pretty or something . . .

Actually, I don't have a 0300 but used to own two of them. They
were a little heavy for my taste, but the 630 feels so much lighter(although
it is only about 2 ounces lighter). I would rather have an SMF too, but not for $400. :)
