Just received my second Becker - a BK11 - literally moments ago. Yesterday my FPR BK17 arrived. I am really stoked. Here is a pic of my budding family!

All of the modding threads have really been encouraging. I am planning on modding the 11 this weekend and hope I don't screw it up.

Nice! If you screw up the 11, buy a 14 you'll like it better! I can open a beer bottle with my teeth! Go on the Bay, see how many 11's are out there compared to the 14's, you'll see what I'm talking about! The 14 is the 11 upgrade!

If this weekend's project goes well I think I will be buying some more Beckers (11 or 14) for my two boys and modding them also...of course I do need a 14 for the collection. :)

You wont regret buying the 14 one bit. Especially now that the zytel handles are out the knife is just begging to be bought, modded and then used. Great knife at a great price. I love my little Esky

I still like the 11 better. I have big hands the 11 and 14 are both a 3 finger grip for me.

The BK-11 with micarta scales is a tough one to beat. It's been my go to knife for a while now. I'll probably end up with a 14 down the road, but I'm just a HUGE fan of the 11.

It may be shiney but it still gets lots and lots of use. The finish has held up surprisingly well for how much abuse it takes.
